The Problem My phone has one calendar but I want to sync my work, home and wife's calendars - and I want any event added/updated/removed on my phone to sync to the correct calendar on ScheduleWorld.
Solution: ScheduleWorld will always do the right thing for updates and deletes.
There is only one question: If you create an event on your phone, which calendar does ScheduleWorld save it in after a sync?
Answer: You have two options:
- Configure ScheduleWorld to put received new items into a calendar with a matching category. If no matching category is found it will fall back to the next option.
- Configure ScheduleWorld to put received new items into a specific calendar.
[edit] Matching Category
- These instructions assume you have clicked the button New Calendar on the day view and have the calendars 'Work' and 'Home'. Use any names you like, of course.
- Configure your device to use the Matching Category method by going to the HTML preferences page and clicking 'Edit Settings' for your phone.
- Select the Calendars tab.
- Enable the option Send new events to the first calendar matching the event category.
- Enable the calendars you want to sync to your phone (For example, Work and Home).
- Click 'Save'.
- Assign a category (or comma separated categories) to each calendar.
For example, on the HTML preferences page assign the category 'Work' to the calendar 'Work' and something similar for the 'Home' calendar.
- 'Save' must be clicked to save your category change.
- On your phone, create a calendar event with the category 'Work' and sync. No matter how many ScheduleWorld calendars you have this new event will be saved in the 'Work' calendar.

- Configure your device to use the Matching Category method by going to the HTML preferences page and clicking 'Edit Settings' for your phone.
- Select the Calendars tab.
- Disable the option Send new events to the first calendar matching the event category and below that select which calendar you want to receive new items.
- All events you create on your phone will wind up in the calendar you selected.
