ScheduleWorld provides a fast lossless merge sync feature to keep your ScheduleWorld and GMail contacts in sync.

1. Log in to ScheduleWorld.
2. Go to the preferences page.
3. Click 'GMail' in the left panel.

2. Enter the password you use to log into GMail.
3. Click 'Save'.

1. Click the 'Sync GMail Contacts' button on the ScheduleWorld GMail preferences page.

[edit] How Does The Lossless Merge Sync Work?

1. ScheduleWorld asks Google for all of your contacts.
   1. But NOT any in the GMail 'Suggested Contacts' category.
2. ScheduleWorld examines the GMail contacts with all ScheduleWorld contacts.
3. Any contacts or contact attributes in GMail that are missing in ScheduleWorld will be sent to ScheduleWorld.
4. Same with any contacts or contact attributes in ScheduleWorld that are missing in GMail.
5. ScheduleWorld takes care to ensure your Google groups (categories) and ScheduleWorld categories are handled correctly. GMail groups are mapped to ScheduleWorld categories.

[edit] Known Limitations

1. GMail provides a bad mechanism for handling home/work/other addresses. Specifically, GMail has no mechanism for individually storing city/state/province/country/postal/zip/post office box information. This means that in the GMail -> ScheduleWorld direction your GMail address data will all get stuffed into the corresponding home/work/other street address in ScheduleWorld.
   1. If home/work/other address data is important to you please file a bug report with Google and ask them to provide a workable mechanism.
2. Photos are currently only transferred from GMail to ScheduleWorld, and not in the other direction.
