Advanced Configuration
From Sw
There are a number of powerful configuration options that can dynamically decide if items should be considered as well as transform your data during a SyncML session. These advanced options are available by clicking 'Edit Settings'
on the HTML preferences page.
[edit] Synchronizing Specific Calendars
There is a feature that let's you sync a specific calendar instead of the default. Add a '?cal=X' parameter like this:
http://sync.ScheduleWorld.com/funambol/ds?cal=X
where 'X' is the iCalendarID - you can get this number from your preferences page. It will be in the URL for freebusy etc - like ../123.ifb
Note: At the moment you can't use SyncML MD5 authentication with the '?cal=X' feature. If you're using SyncEvolution you can change from MD5 to BASIC authentication by modifying the config.txt file like this:
clientAuthType = syncml:auth-basic serverAuthType = syncml:auth-basic
[edit] Assign Categories To Outgoing Items
- This feature can be uniquely configured for each SyncML device.
- You can find it on the preferences page, click 'Edit Settings' for a specific device, select the 'Miscellaneous' tab.
- Enter one or more (comma separated) categories in the 'Send Categories To Device' text field.
- These categories are not actually added to the server item, they are dynamically added to the item on its way from ScheduleWorld to the SyncML device/software. If you sync from the client into ScheduleWorld, then the server will have these categories.
NOTE: This will be changed shortly to be able to apply these settings to individual calendars.
[edit] Determine How Much Flash Storage ScheduleWorld Is Using
This will also show who else is using Flash Storage: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html
